Zach Woods
Known for his work as an actor, Zach Woods comes to Tribeca Festival Lisboa with his first feature as director.
Zach Woods is one of the confirmed special guests of Tribeca Festival Lisboa. After making his name as a performer in The Office, Silicon Valley and other film and television productions, Woods has been expanding his work into writing, directing and producing.
The Accompanist is his feature directing debut. Tribeca’s official listing describes a family drama in which a child is taken from his grandfather’s care and placed with an unpredictable woman, in an encounter that transforms ideas of family and memory.
Also known for his improv work and his time at the Upright Citizens Brigade, Woods brings to directing the same interest in disarming characters, unlikely relationships and observational humour.
