Daniela Ruah
An actor, director and producer, Daniela Ruah is a natural link between Portuguese creation and the international circuit.
Daniela Ruah is one of the confirmed special guests of Tribeca Festival Lisboa. Born in Boston and raised in Portugal, Ruah began acting as a teenager and built a bilingual career across television, film and stage.
Her international profile is tied to the character Kensi Blye in NCIS: Los Angeles, a series on which she also began directing episodes. Her training includes Performing Arts at London Metropolitan University and studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
Between acting and directing, Ruah keeps a special connection to Portugal: after a career that began in the country, she built an international presence while continuing to return to Portuguese work.
