Co-writer and a producer of "Here I’m Alive", Brian a former New Yorker, who now lives between Paris and Portugal, is premiering his latest movie in Portugal in which at the 2026 Tribeca Festival won a Special Jury Prize.
Brian Perkins’ debut feature film as director/writer/producer, the critically-acclaimed Golden Kingdom, had its world premiere at the Berlinale. The first international feature to be shot on location in Myanmar after its brief political opening, it was distributed in the USA by Kino Lorber. Brian recently finished the internationally co-produced Ukrainian war feature Our House is On Fire, as producer and screenwriter. His latest film, as co-writer and a producer, Here I’m Alive, premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Festival, winning a Special Jury Prize. A former New Yorker, he now lives between Paris and Portugal.
