Under the signature “Tribeca Night Stories”, the partnership between Tribeca Festival Lisboa and the Night Stories market will transform the festival grounds at Unicorn Factory Lisboa into a cultural epicentre featuring DJ sets and emerging bands, crafts, and a wide variety of gastronomy, from October 30 to November 1.
Tribeca Festival Lisboa returns to celebrate creativity in all its forms. This year, the celebration of culture extends day and night through the collaboration with Night Stories, which will offer free access to live concerts, DJ sets, vinyl sessions, crafts, and a variety of food concepts for all tastes, from 12:00 to 24:00 throughout the three days of the festival. The result is an atmosphere where Lisbon’s energy meets the youthful, disruptive and distinctive spirit of the Tribeca Festival.
Highlights include performances by La Tremenda Sonora, an eleven-member salsa band, and Manila, promising a show full of groove and charisma. The nights continue with sets from Eternal Love, Boddhi Satva, Uma Africana, DJ Nick Bad, and the duo MXGPU — the latest collaboration between DJs Moulinex and GPU Panic — who will close the festival with a special set prepared for the Lisbon audience.
More than an extension of the festival’s programme, this collaboration represents the meeting of two platforms that share the same vision: celebrating creativity, authenticity, and the power of bringing people together through culture.
As part of this, Tribeca Night Stories will also include a curated market, in collaboration with Shop Amazonas, featuring numerous Portuguese brands. The market will be open from 3pm to 11pm on Friday, October 31, and from 12pm to 11pm on Saturday, November 1. In addition, Unicorn Factory Lisboa will also host the Pieces Chess Club from 7pm to 12am on Friday, October 31 — open to players of all levels, as well as anyone curious about the game.
Because no celebration is complete without good food, Tribeca Night Stories will also feature a diverse selection of street food from brands such as Secret Oven Pizzas, Street Burger, Kau, and Empanadas do Maxi.
Night Stories is more than an event — it is a cultural phenomenon that, since 2021, has transformed Lisbon into a vibrant urban playground where music, food, art and emerging brands come together in a celebration of what is new, creative and authentic. Created to give visibility to the city’s own trailblazers, it has become Lisbon’s most well-known night market and one of the most anticipated events in the cultural calendar. Each edition serves as a living, pulsating platform welcoming visionary chefs, disruptive artists, rising musicians and bold brands, creating an ecosystem where projects meet, ideas are tested, and communities take shape.
With this partnership, Tribeca Festival Lisboa reinforces its mission to be more than a film festival: a meeting place for artists, creators and audiences, where stories continue long after the credits roll.
According to Mónica Serrano, Marketing and Communications Director of Grupo Impresa, the organisation behind Tribeca Festival Lisboa, the partnership with Night Stories is the most natural way to extend the spirit of Tribeca into the city of Lisbon. “We want the festival to live inside and outside the theatres, for people to feel Lisbon as part of this celebration of creativity. Night Stories brings that free, plural and authentic energy that also defines Tribeca Festival Lisboa, and that is what makes it so special,” she explains.
