Tribeca Festival Lisboa is back with BIG news

From December 9–13, the festival returns to the heart of Lisbon with a programme spanning cinema, music and entertainment, further strengthening it as the European hub for storytelling

Tribeca Festival Lisboa today unveiled the highlights of its third edition at Praça da Alegria, once again bringing the festival to Avenida da Liberdade and venues including Cinema São Jorge, Teatro Tivoli BBVA and Capitólio.

Among the first confirmed names are Alec Baldwin, Edward Burns, Zach Woods and W. Kamau Bell, while Joaquim de Almeida and Daniela Ruah return as festival ambassadors.

The first international titles confirmed include Finnegan’s Foursome, by Edward Burns; The Accompanist, by Zach Woods; Here I’m Alive, by Joshua Z. Weinstein; Queen at Sea, by Lance Hammer; Josephine, by Beth de Araújo; and The Incomer, by Louis Paxton.

The Portuguese selection includes O Dia Mais Feliz da Minha Vida, directed by Vicente Alves do Ó; Também Tu Clara, by António Borges Correia; Vindima, by Luís Galvão Teles; Viagens entre Estrelas e Ondas, by Cláudio Jordão; 6:06, by Tekla Taidell; and Mulherzinha, a documentary by Bárbara Tinoco.

The programme also features a selection of Portuguese short films, including Bom Dia (Uma Espécie de Oração), by Diogo Brito; My Type, de Daniela Ruah; e Prova de Cor, de Joana Botelho.

The 2026 edition also introduces new formats and experiences beyond cinema, with entertainment and podcast programming led by the Tribeca Festival teams in New York, in collaboration with Portuguese curators.

The new edition further establishes Tribeca Festival Lisboa as a meeting point for cinema, music, podcasts, entertainment, and Portuguese and international talent, bringing different audiences and creative disciplines together in the heart of Lisbon.
